The Ice Bucket Challenge challenge to raise awareness for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease) has been making the rounds, and I was nominated to participate. In turn, I nominated three friends and my sister to do the same (ice water filled footage below).
ALS is a is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. To learn more about the #icebucketchallenge, ALS, or how to donate to the cause, please visit the ALS Therapy Development Institute or the ALS Association.

Oh my gosh!! this is awesome! It brought tears to my eyes and had me laughing. So, glad to see people bringing awareness to #ALS ! My grandfather passed away from ALS at 50 years old he never meet any of his grandkids! Thank you for sharing this and doing this!! Kim @ This Ole Mom

The only bucket we have is my baby’s pool toy, which would have held about a cup… I’ll remember that if I’m ever challenged again!
