When was the last time an email knocked your socks off? A few weeks ago, I received an email invitation to become a BabyLegs.com affiliate. I was so excited that BabyLegs was interested in Reflective Mama! But I was also a little skeptical… Is this for real? I followed a link in the email’s signature to check out the company before responding. Once there, the first thing I noticed was that they also own Happy Socks, a brand that I am very familiar with. My husband is obsessed. He wears Happy Socks to work everyday. Seriously. EVERYDAY. With the source confirmed to be extremely legit, I was in. It probably comes as no surprise that my husband was also really excited for this opportunity:
Turns out, BabyLegs was about to knock Baby’s socks off, too. The company’s primary product is an awesome line of absolutely adorable baby legwarmers. The first time I spotted baby legwarmers, they were on the cutie next to me at a mom and baby yoga class. She looked so precious in them. Unfortunately, I could never find them for my little guy anywhere I shopped. Until now. After following up on the email with a phone call, a box of amazingness showed up at our door for us to review. BabyLegs makes legwarmers in two sizes: 0-3 months and one size fits most, which fits infants through 4 year olds. It seemed like a large age range, but it worked. They are really stretchy with elastic at the tops and bottoms to keep them in place. They go all the way up Baby’s thighs, and basically replace the need for shorts or pants. I imagine that they will continue to fit, slowly starting to look more and more like traditional legwarmers as he gets taller. As a boy, Baby might stop wearing them once they’re only covering his ankles, except for the ones in favorite team colors or with similar sporty designs. I can definitely imagine little girls still wearing all of their favorites to their first dance or gymnastics classes. For the past week, I’ve been putting Baby in the legwarmers paired with a solid colored onesie. I love that they protect his knees (he’s crawling everywhere). Extra Mom Bonus: They made wet diaper changes really easy because I only had to unsnap his onesie instead of having to take off and put back on shorts or pants. For less active kiddos, they’d make even dirty diaper changes a snap. And they’re really stinkin’ cute.
The only negative part of the design was that the elastic left an imprint on Baby’s thigh, like what a pair of socks would do. I fixed this by pulling the legwarmers higher so that the elastic fit above the chubbiest part of his thigh. I imagine this will be less of an issue soon considering he’ll be running around in about two days and his soft little legs should morph into major toddler muscle. Hopefully from chasing him around I’ll gain some new muscle, too. My favorite pair were the stingrays in the BabyCool line because of their lighter weight fabric and built in 50+ UVF protection (perfect for Baby’s fair skin). My husband loves the home run baseball design (of course), and Grandma melts every time she sees the classic blue croquet pair.
To check out these and all of the other baby legwarmer designs (I want them all), click on any of the legwarmers or the BabyLegs logo pictured above to shop the BabyLegs Summer Clearance sale going on now.

I loved reading how skeptical you were of the email at first. I have completely stalked representatives to find out if they were really who they said they were… so I identify!
Loved the texts between you and your hubs! Laughed so much at that.
Love Baby Legs brand! I used to do Salsa Babies fitness when my girls were babes and I would put the Baby Legs on them so their little legs would be warm while Mommy worked up a sweat.
Congratulations Farrah. Enjoy!
xoxo
